I doubt it’d be too rowdy at all if we lose. This team is way further along than anyone expected, unless we blow a 3-1 lead or something I doubt there’d be any rioting.

Nott really. I mean, we're not assholes, we are just honest. Fans booed Machado and Soto and even cheered Santa. Now, they may be more civil in comparison to Eagles fans but a partial reason is because that base gets so amped up and drunk while tailgating. There's also more alcohol involved, which does away with inhibitions and let's the testosterone flow.

These may be excuses but all Philly sports fans are grouped together. Truth is, we tell it how it is. We don't tolerate softies like Ben Simmons. We will be straight up. Love ya when you're good and criticize when you aren't performing to your potential. We are as honest as they come.

I’m talking Philly fans in general. We are assholes and we shouldn’t hide from it. It’s what makes us special. We threw D-Cells at JD Drew, we threw snowballs at Santa and Jimmy Johnson, told a 100+ year old woman from Minnesota to go fuck herself. We made fun of Joe Jurevicious’ dead son. Hell, one of us threw up on a small child from our own fanbase out of pure spite. To run away from the asshole label is to reject your own humanity. Embrace it and be the asshole we all are.
