I found an old one on here but it's from 2020. Looking for a much updated map. Also can you tell me which areas are best for trick or treating? I'm in the Havertown area. We aren't from this area so I don't even know what streets of Drexel hill or Havertown to even go to for trick or treating. I'm looking for the most dense neighborhoods to trick or treat in. Please don't just name cities either because that could take forever. I don't want to spend Halloween in a car stuck in traffic either. I'm open to all neighborhoods. But I prefer Delaware county/Montgomery County. Drexel hill, Havertown, Bala Cynwd, Ardmore. Can someone tell me what areas and neighorhoods the kids should go to?

You should join nextdoor.com. You can put your house on there as one that’s giving out treats and might be able to mark it as being decorated and some other things. In the past, we have been able to mark ourselves as having allergen-free treats. They seem to have gotten rid of that, but this year we’ve marked ourselves as having treats for any dogs that happen to be brought along. Obviously, you can look at the map to find out where to take Trick-or-treaters.

If you are close to the Havertown post office, come up to Hillside Avenue in Upper Darby! (We don’t get a lot of trick-or-treaters and my husband and I love to give out candy and see the kids’– And adults’ – costumes.)

What is up with all of these posts today? Do people not trick or treat in their own neighborhoods? Do people really DRIVE to trick or treat?

In some other threads people keep mentioning my ‘hood and now it’s starting to make sense that I ran out of candy (300+ pieces) in a couple hours.

Depends on the neighborhood. But I enjoy taking the kids to different neighborhoods seeing the Halloween decorations. It's best to go to the most dense neighborhood where you can rack up the most candy in the smallest amount of time. The only way I can justify the stick to your own neighborhood is if you live in a great area where everyone participates in giving out candy.
