I didn’t say the government will, I said they should. I have never seen convincing data that handgun ownership (or CCLs) decrease crime, though gun ownership certainly increases risk of death by firearm. Also, why are you making things up about defunding the police when the current budget is the highest its ever been?

I really don't give a shit about this, I was just saying your idea to put all the guns in a gun furnace of your dreams was stupid. Nothing will change. Get used to it. I can pull references of what I was referring to but this will just never end.
