Urban heat island is a big contributor. As the climate warms, we're going to need to plant more urban trees.

Out in Western Chester County, we haven’t had anywhere near that temp increase. All the soil , vegetation and trees sure help.

I’ve lived in Chester County for 54 years, I can definitely attest that the climate has changed. The primary way is that we now get much more frequent intense rain storms. To the point where I had to install new drainage on my property that was unnecessary even two decades ago.
