This is r/philadelphia
I was hoping if anyone from Philly had suggestions. From their experience.

I'll say this much: there's a lot of analogues there -- they have a Stuffed and Mounted Animals and Dinos Museum, so do we. They have a great Art Museum, so do we.
What they have, and we don't (among other things), is Second City. An amazing comedy institution. And amazing architecture tours of a city wholly rebuilt after The Fire. Enjoy their river.
Until Chief Keef is allowed back, I want nothing to do with Chicago.
Yep River tour, comedy and lots of local Blues music, deep dish pizzas.
Upper Wacker still makes me giggle.
Don't be afraid to take public transit. When I go I usually land at Midway and take the orange line to the loop and explore from there.
Architectural boat tour
I second the architecture boat tour, it was fantastic. And Chicago deep dish isn’t for everyone but you have to try to while you’re there.
Chicago's science museum and aquarium are top-notch!
