EDIT: My half asleep ass should’ve clarified earlier, I’m NOT talking about the homeless. I’m talking about aggressive bums. Two separate things. Homeless people don’t threaten to kill me over not giving them what they want. Bums do.
I swear it can’t just be my store. I’m kicking out folks everyday now, most of them are getting so damn aggressive (bums have always been aggressive, but it seems to be so unbelievably bad now). They get aggressive to the customers too. I have had multiple people express their wishes to beat my ass after work/fuck me up in some way in the last week or two. Last week a bum snapped at me after I yelled at her to clean up her spilled cheesesteak - she told me that she’d beat the fuck outta me and then “shoot you through your little fucking head”, then proceeded to stand outside pointing finger guns at me. She said she’d never come back but of course, she came back today 🤦. Then another bum that comes in everyday and harasses customers snapped on me after I told her to get the fuck out. She reached over the counter and shoved her finger in my face, screaming at me that “I’m fucking sick of you, you stupid bitch” then went away when my coworker smacked her in the face with a roll of trash bags lmaoooo. After banging on the window furiously, she came back in and trashed the entire store bc a guy said “no, sorry” when she asked him for change. I swear every time I hear the door open, I get all fluttery inside. I had to call off all last week because I just can’t take it anymore. I’m shutting down. Most of my coworkers carry knives now; I’m gonna start doing it too. It’s been so bad in the last few weeks
