This is hardly evidence that "people always speak as though this stuff only happens here." Again, it's a Philly sub. How should these types of comments be phrased to avoid offending your sensibilities, since it seems clear you're intolerant of any criticism of the city?

"A crime occurred in Philadelphia. In order to discuss it, I'm obligated to point out that crime occurred in Los Angeles, NYC, Detroit, Phoenix, and Boise as well. I'm confirming with my sources, but crime may also have occurred in Tripoli, Hong Kong, and Glasgow."

No worries about the photographer thing! So there’s no filter per se here I actually left this one “as shot” in my editing app for white balance.

I liked it because (to me anyway) it felt kinda cinematic and conveyed that it was blue hour when I took the pic. Having said that I also really prefer this edit for Many of the reasons you stated.

"It's just frustrating that everything eventually boils down to people saying "Landlords are scum" to everything we do."

But if you think you're one of the good one landlords, then this statement doesn't apply to you, so why do you get upset by it?

Is it because you know that making money off of a necessity is scum behaviour and that landlords ARE scum?

yup its that we disagree, not that what you said is 1:1 with the suburbanite "the city is crazy and evil and dangerous and dont ever go there or you'll get carjacked!!!!!!!!!" complain.

My bad, when it looks like a duck, talks like a duck, and quacks like a duck, i tend to assume I'm looking at a duck.
