Consciousness as defined by many philosophers (that which experiences qualia, experiences which cannot be quantified) is not a coherent, or rather, falsifiable, concept. It does not scientifically exist.

It empirically exists. At least for me.

How can you prove that your experiences cannot be quantified?

The existence of other people's qualia can't be proven. My own experiences are self-evident to me, and I think other people's qualia are self-evident to themselves, as well.

Good thing science isn't the sole arbiter of what can be said to exist. Consciousness is perfectly coherent if you're not a radical physicalist.
