Being called Tony's Pub, or something. Pretty sure they aren't changing anything other than the name. Same staff, menu etc. Only what I've heard in rumors though.

Monterey is pretty different these days. Much cleaner, food is better quality, generally brighter inside. Cocktail menu, out back was transformed from a mud pit to a cool hang out spot that's dog friendly. Plenty different.

Fair point and didn’t mean to minimize what the new owners did (I love it there) but rather saying they tried to keep the good parts and general branding intact

Pipers used to have boxty during brunch, and are supposedly on the way to reopening
