I’m honestly surprised it lasted this long. That area is pretty snooty (from what I remember anyway) and a lot of people weren’t pleased with the Walmart since it made the plaza “less desirable”.

It was already considered a discount mall with TJ Maxx, Marshalls and Ross. Never really upscale like ones in Cranberry

Nothing in Cranberry is upscale. It’s like five versions of the same plaza as Waterworks. They have Ross and Marshall’s too.

Damn, really? Wow I’m actually surprised. Maybe those folks just didn’t like Walmart 🤷🏾‍♀️🤷🏾‍♀️

I remember that when I first came to Pittsburgh from Somerset. One of my old friends who already lived in the area told me that the Waterworks was one of the "rich" malls. This was about 20 years ago. I have to laugh now, because I personally don't think of this mall was a "rich mall."
