Have you looked for what units are currently for sale and then drill down from there? Or are you wanting to know the buildings in advance that meet your needs and wait for a unit to be for sale? The most new condo activity would likely be in the Strip. Unfortunately, it's the most underrepresented housing type in Pittsburgh.

Yes, I am doing both--looking online for units for sale & also asking for advice from people. I have a wheaten terrier & a himalayan cat, both are family to me. Can't bear to part with either, but I am retiring next year & will be 62 years old. The upkeep & maintenance of maintaining my current house in Highland Park, plus a rental property in HP is draining me emotionally & wiping me out financially. Time for a change.

Looking for condo or townhome complexes with amenities, that allowed pets & rentals. You are correct, there dont seem to be as many in Pgh as in other places!
