It's closer in the city, but Greenfield neighborhood is still very affordable. Elementary school is called Greenfield Elementary (until 8th grade) and then students go to Allderdice high school. Both solid schools. I live there now, DINK, and it's a but two quiet for me. But great family friendly neighborhood.
