I don’t know if someone can sticky this, but maybe it’ll help with the influx of “what is going on” posts already popping up.
The Trib has details on the funeral and subsequent procession route for today:
Short version: This afternoon, traffic will get messy from New Kensington through Tarentum and Brackenridge, and up into Harrison.
I’m sure I’ll get downvotes for this, but please be respectful of these folks and the people handling traffic details along the procession route. I’ll be one of those people. We don’t like to cause interruptions any more than you like to deal with them, but we are honoring the life of someone who chose the duty to be a protector. That is not a duty that is easy, nor is the burden taken lightly. Chillax if you are stuck for a little while and plan to add extra time if you know you need to traverse these areas this afternoon.
