Because they are kicked out of everywhere else. They've also set up tents right outside the state house.

The cost of housing is absolutely absurd. Even a two income family getting paid what would have been considered a decent salary just 7-8 years ago can barely afford housing today. It is an absolute crisis.

Something’s gotta be done about it eventually. I really don’t get it. The price just can’t keep going up especially from here. If landlords are raising rent every year or two there’s going to be nowhere affordable for anyone to live in ~5 years.
