Help a circus aerialist touch down roots?

I am moving to Providence early spring, shortly after I settle my affairs in Washington state and get back from Thailand. Was wondering if anyone had some private landlord contacts, anything would be super helpful. Trying to secure something in March, but all I'm seeing on Craigslist is stuff available now or a month out. I'm not super picky, would be up for roommates as well. I've had the intention to move to your wonderful city for about 2yrs now after researching what would be the best for me. Sincerely appreciate any genuine input, thank you all.

I should add that I work remote, have savings, and can pack everything in my car if needed and sell off furniture.

You might want to post on the NextDoor app for any leads. March is kind of a funky month for finding a place- more open up after the students leave in May.

Finding an apartment is miserable. You're gonna get the standard advice (and sort by "new"). I want to also add that I have a friend who moves states every few months and has had good luck with places like Sublet (.com) which might tide you over until you get to know neighborhoods. It is also is a huge help for her when it comes to making connections in the area. There are not a ton of postings here, but I've seen a handful and they are pretty affordable (700-800 due to many roommates).

Also, I would encourage you to be open to Feb options in case a particularly good option pops up. I was looking a few months out, but ended up renting a month earlier because I knew I found the best option. With low vacancy, I saw a lot of people getting desperate because they had to be somewhere and 30 days wasn't enough time-- it was really heartbreaking to see (group showings/ open house thimgs).

I have no leads on helpful landlords, but you'll probably need a training space unless you score a landlord who doesn't mind you adding silks to his high ceiling spaces! The only aerialist space that I know of in RI is Arielle Extreme in East Greenwich, other closest options are closer to Boston. There is one circus company, Circus Dynamics, not sure what else there is since I do props, hoops and fans, but I'm super happy to see additions to the circus community arriving!

I'm an aerial straps artist, one of the biggest reasons for being in Providence is the closeness to Boston without paying Boston rent. I appreciate the RI name drops of some places I can familiarize myself with to make new aerial friends.
