My wife ( I am 55M, she is 53F) of 8 years butt dialed me the other day while she was on lunch break from work. The very first thing I heard was her telling some guy that I am an alcoholic (I am. Quit drinking 7 years ago) and that therefore she cannot drink ( not true at all). She then said that I should be happy for her to drink because then she "might get wild".-- Important point: She does not like having sex with me. We only do it about 6-8 a year.--
She absolutely will not talk about it with me. When I asked she just said, "We were just talking shit. It doesn't mean anything"
But, it does mean something to me. I am really, really hurt. Also, I feel like that was a really odd conversation for a married woman to be having with another man.
