Ongoing issue with lazy, artsy partner (see earlier r/AITA post on my profile).
I told him to get a job, as I will no longer financially support him in his dream of making it big as an artist one day. I've been doing so for going on five years now.
He, predictably, got very mad and called me abusive.
I know I'm not abusive for expecting more from him, and that I'm also not abusive for using harsh language to finally get through to him (because otherwise he'll turn it around on me and we'll get nowhere).
I'm growing a spine, one vertebra at a time. Please send support whilst I try to hold my ground on this one.
