Hello all, need some clarity here.
My girlfriend of 2 years works at an Italian Restaurant as a server. 2 weeks ago, a new employee, let’s call him nick, has joined up.
I have never met the guy, but my girlfriend says he’s nice, and that it’s fun working with him. This struck me as odd, as she hates work, she normally leaves right after finishing her duties to clean and roll silverware, but twice now she’s been “hanging out” until around 12, she normally stays until 10:30-11. This is just striking me as weird, as she has told me again and again that she hates work and can’t wait to leave every day asap.
Well last week, the first time she stayed back, she told me that her and nick were just talking, and that it was just nice to hang out. I found this nice, as she hasn’t had much friends since high school, and i’m glad she’s taking to and getting to know new people.
The second time, tonight, was a different story, she and i were texting, and she stopped responding, i assumed she was most likely driving home, so i said “hope you get home safe, love you” at around 10:30.
11:30 rolls around, and i get the response of “hanging out at work” Ok, sounds fun, im glad she’s hanging with her coworkers. She gets home and tells me that her and nick made a bet that he could wrestle her into the back room. (tf? it caught me so off guard)
I said “sounds like fun! hope y’all had fun, as to be honest, that kinda weirded me out, and i didn’t wanna hear more. She tells me anyways that he picked her up, and hauled her back there. She apparently even bit him, which is something she only does playfully with me. In all honesty, when i heard that i had that gut pant of jealousy. This is messing with me now, is it appropriate for me to feel jealous or weirded out at all?
UPDATE: She’s blowing up my phone saying she’s sorry, she didn’t cheat, fine, i believe her. I’m disconnecting for the night though, im done being fucked with. If anything like this happens again, im done. I’m going to go blaze up and play some VR, thank you everyone who talked some sense into me, some were harsh and others helped guide me, but the same conclusion was reached, im not going to be fucked with anymore, thank you all for helping me stand up for myself here.
