Just woke up with a small amount of sleep too and I feel surprisingly okay so I feel that. I got my first parking ticket last night visiting a friend at her work after I got work. It was only sixty bucks but I apparently parked in a bus stop. I looked at the sign again when I got back to my car and there's a very teeny tiny sign that says VCU ram bus under it... all good took it with a grain of salt and already paid it.
My question is how to people continue to get up early? Especially in the colder months when outside of the covers feels like Antarctica... only reason I'm up is for opening the bar today and I could never get up early on a regular basis.

For some of us, it’s not a choice. I wake up naturally around 4AM every morning and have been that way since high school. Even if I go to bed late, my brain just kicks into high gear in the early morning.

I have bad insomnia so on a good night I go to bed about 2am with meds that knock me out. I struggle to get up if it's extremely early due to how late I typically go to bed so that's rough to me to get up that early. I guess I'm just more of a night person, but thank you for your perspective! I know some people get up a little later than that naturally, but didn't realize 4am was also a thing

For me, it took getting an office job for it to stick. There was no way I would have volunteered to get up at 6:30 every day before that but now I’m in a routine and it’s easier to keep my sleep schedule on track than sleep too late on the weekends.

I felt that this morning I forgot to turn off my AC and it was freezing in my apartment

I have not mastered this yet. Getting better though. I can be awake early but actually doing anything other than making & drinking coffee is a big ask. One exception is getting up early to do something fun like going fishing or hiking
