I should say, it’s not local law. It’s a state law. No nudity. Not if they want to sell alcohol.

Private strippers are a different matter altogether.

I use to go to the Scott’s addition Paper Moon with a girl I was seeing. We would dress up in thrift shop couture. I’m talking bow ties faux gold chains, costume glasses, 2nd hand furs, tuxedo shoes etc. I recommend setting a limit on what you plan to spend. We also liked to pick up scratch off tickets from the 7-11 on boulevard and add those to our cash tips to make things interesting. For the full experience sit right by the stage and tip every dancer a few $. If there is a girl that has super swag energy you can focus all our attention on her. The dancers are there to make money and make you feel special. If you are approached by a dancer that you are not interested in just politely say you are not looking for company. Never buy the dancers drinks (they are marked up like 2x) Go in with an open mind and some fun friends- always be respectful.

I personally am not a fan of beer anymore, but they do have a few high % ABV bourbon barrel brewers that are okay to drink.

Nudity with booze isn’t very high on the legislative docket here unfortunately.

Club Rouge. Just go and see what happens, take about 50 bucks cash and get a lot of 1s so you don’t get the scooby bucks they’ll give you if you want change.

Best strippers would be Paper Moon then Rogue. For cheap day drinks and slightly mature strippers Richard's. Take about $150, $20 or so to get in, $80-$100 for lap dances. The rest for beers and tips. Pro tip take a hit of E to save on beers and really have a good time.

Granite I have not gone in years, This not close? And I said dances figure it's good for 1-2 depending on length and club, maybe 3 at Richard's. Specifically I live in 2006-2014, that's when I peaked

I'm late to this but you should ignore most of the responses here. With a limited budget Richards is the best and only option. You can get a pitcher of beer (for cheap) and chill without getting immediately pressured into a private room.

Rouge is tiny AF and you can't really disappear into the crowd there, they also have expensive drinks.

Paper Moon will sell you a $12 bottle of Bud light and then immediately pressure you into a private room before you have a chance to get a feel for anything. They will upcharge the fuck out of you.

The lap dance area at Richards is only semi private and cheaper than anywhere else.

If it's your first time just come in with like $40 in singles, sit up front when you see a girl you like and toss money her way. Buy a pitcher of beer with your bud and drink it. If a girl you really like asks for a lap dance it used to be $20 a song (sometimes they do 2 songs for 1) and you should tip like another $5 or $10 on top.

To the points about VA vs other states. If you really want to see a wide open vagina in your face then go to WV or another full nudity place. It's not my thing personally. Also, in VA there are tassels but they are clear and you can't even really see them. It's silly and no reason not to go here.

Richard’s is the only woman-owned club in Richmond and the most fun. Be aware that dance prices in Richmond are significantly higher than elsewhere

My Opiesque roommate went to a strip club in DC and said that the strippers looked like SI swimsuit models. He was blown away... I had a coworker who tried to get a job at the Red Light Inn stripping... she auditioned but was rejected b/c of tattoos!! This was 1994 before the tattoo thing was a thing.

Echoing the statement that Va clubs suck. DC city much much better. But! In order: Rogue, Richards, Papermoon.

Papermoon is the “nicest” but lame. It’s trying too hard. Rogue/Richards are less pretentious…what you see is what you get and less cheesy, more gritty.

Like others here have mentioned, you're better off taking a trip to DC and getting your money's worth there. Cloakroom is high end and incredibly aesthetic.

I went to Daddy Rabbit's a few years ago for my 21st birthday and it was totally underwhelming. Hardly anyone there, maybe 4 or 5 dancers at best and none of them were all that appealing. The bouncer was nice enough to let my friend and I in for free since it was my birthday. I guess the best things in life aren't for free

Owner of this private club makes his dancers get and provide weekly testing results for common STDS AND STIS it's actually their biggest point how clean it is Like Celebroties and rappers come to this location again it's in the hood so it's "specific" kinds of people here

I just know cause I did an emergency DJ. Gig there and had a blast

however that location attracts a different kind of crowd as well

When I was young and naive, I attended a party with my now ex husband and was chatting with some of the other young women. I noted how thin they all were and asked what they did to stay so thin. They told me they were dancers. In my excitement I told them I had a friend who dances for Richmond Ballet. I inquired where they danced, turns out they were all strippers and I probably didn’t want to use their methods to stay thin
