Most dogs who are crate trained properly enjoy their crates. Kinda sounds like your experiences with people crating are people who are shitty owners.

Yeah, when I see I dog I think to myself... This animal loves being locked in a wire cage inside of an apartment and actually prefers it over running around a farm.

Yeah I think the same thing when I see dogs on leashes, like just let them run outside where they want.
