We walked in the heavy rain and cold (38-40 degrees) to this venue to see trippie redd perform, it was $85/ticket and the understaffed security checkpoint had the line moving so slowly that people were dropping out left and right. We had even just convinced my friend to buy a ticket an hour prior.
hypothermia is an understated and very real risk from this situation. My girlfriend happened to be underdressed and we stood in line for an hour (thinking we were late) until 11:20 when we couldn't take the wait. Her lips were blue, and she was soaked. I realized we were gonna have to uber home and we did because this was genuinely unsafe and disrespectful to the ticket purchasers. I've been to venues where it rains and they rush us in because it's respectful.
this line wrapped from the left corner of the john marshall on fifth st. and wrapped to franklin, then double backed on itself. to the back of the venue. We waited for an hour in the rain and cold and didn't even make it halfway.
I know someone on here witnessed or was in line with us. Can anyone explain/help the refund possibility?
Also someone explain why there were sold out shows for trippieredd in Massachusetts, D.C, and Richmond?

I heard the show in Richmond was going to be a live feed of the one in Massachusetts, but IDK if that's true.Edit:. Not true. He showed up in person eventually. Some of the commenters on that Insta link waited 5 hours in the cold rain!
If they sold tickets to a show where the main advertised performer wasn't going to be present, I'd say there's room for a class-action case against the club assuming people want to go through the effort.
