I think it’s still reasonable to say agi is decades away , I think the right comparison for someone saying chatgpt is agi, would be someone saying agi is still centuries away

By decades, I mean more than 5 or 6 decades away which I feel it is not given the rapid progress. 1 or 2 decades is still reasonable.
