I work in IT and I've been using chatGPT now for a little while. Recently, I made people aware that I've been using it and promote it as a productive tool. Today, I got an e-mail from my supervisor basically reprimanding me for using the software. Anyone else running into this? I used it to send an e-mail to all staff, something benign that people needed to be made aware of.
I've used it previously to create powershell scripts, something else my supervisor doesn't want me to use (I'm a system administrator).
At this point, I think I'm tempted to just deny that I'm using it when asked about it rather than be honest and promote the tool.
