Neither are a problem with the full backing of Microsoft, and being in debt due to having to pay back investments will only make them hungrier and faster.

Think Google has been pursuing AGI. I believe that was one of the purposes of search all along.

Obtuse.

A Google with the long term foresight to create AGI would have done exactly what real life Google did. A single company staying on top long enough to be responsible for two transformative technologies.

Search is going to ultimately be all about AGI. It is by far the best way to tap into a human for training.

But then Google having over 92% share so nobody else really gets access to the data at the level Google is getting access.

The general public thinks GPT is incredible because it's available to them. Google absolutely has systems that are more advanced than GPT, they just don't expose them to the public.
