Makes sense. Pretty sure the owner is the dude getting hit with the fraud charges by the government. Won't be surprised if Bourbon and Beal closes too.

Damn, dude took all those fake PPP loans but couldn't even have the sense to pay rent for the businesses he did have.

It was garbage anyways. The people who worked there were kind, but the food sucked.

Anyone hear when that Go Burrito place is supposed to open?

Good. Scumbag business owners like this deserve to lose everything. There should be repercussions for stealing from taxpayers.

Yup. Happened about a week to two weeks ago I think? I work at Natty G, so I look at this place daily. Kind of sad. It’s a beautiful building and their interior was cute. I hope another local business takes it over soon.

Damn, that one probably has a good shot of being sold though. I know they sold once after the original owner passed, so hopefully there's still interest. I feel like the quality isn't as good as it used to be but their Table Rock Red and IPA are pretty good.

I've never been there, but this is a great location for me. I wonder what will happen to it now. I wish that I could magically turn this into a Tacos El Champu.

Where will all those homeless tacos go?

This trio of restaurants were just copycats of more successful restaurants in other cities. Bourbon & Beale and Guy Fieri's: menu, down to the plates/dishes they used. Hell, the french fries in their little baskets were straight ripoffs.

Taco Habitat reminded me of Torchy's down in Texas, and Hot Cluckers was Hattie B's.

Surprisingly, there are lots of multimillion dollar boats at Lake of the Ozarks. And lots of these are at people's multimillion dollar weekend homes that they go to just a couple times a year. It's insane.

Well that’s what happens when you try to get something for nothing. Hope he likes rims. Cause all he’ll be doing is giving and getting rim jobs now 🫣

We can vote those people out if people were more interested in being involved. You cannot vote out a business owner besides voting with your dollar and even then systemic abuse against employees is already happening without any protections for them.

Musk quit paying for rent in the building Twitter's office is located at because he knows he won't face any repercussions from it. The guy who owned these businesses fancied himself a rich genius, so the joke is he probably thought he was going to get away with not paying rent too

Not that it says anything about the owner of these places being a scumbag… but I tried to apply here a few years back when I was between jobs and they wanted references… no way I was going to provide references for what is essentially a fast food job. Thought that was really odd

I tried hot cluckers once. I can’t do chicken that ain’t got no seasoning. There wasn’t no garlic powder no onion powder no paprika I don’t even think they put no salt on them damn things. Lol but being dead ass serious. Bland chicken. Hot isn’t a seasoning

I’m an NG employee and I also miss Lucky’s. They were so cool, I remember their ramen/sushi bar so distinctly. Unfortunately, Kroger (who own’s Lucky’s) shut down basically all of their stores save for a couple in Florida IIRC. NG doesn’t have that type of stuff, but we sell exclusively organic produce and some really good stuff at great prices. I hear a lot of complaints about prices being high, yet most products we sell are more pricey at Walmart. I genuinely respect where I work for making prices not super unreasonable for the average joe, especially being a health food store. There’s a natural grocers store brand that is tbh awesome and really cheap.

I went there once and dealt with some of the rudest people I've ever given my hard earned money to. I truly can't think of a better group of people to have this shit happen to. Lying, stealing lowlives commiting identity theft on former employees they fired good riddance and don't come back.
