I had a 88 e28 and had terrible time finding parts or anyone willing to work on it at a decent rate. I ended up having to order online and do my own work

Join the 417 German Autostil group on Facebook, they’ll point you in the right direction. There are two local shops, one in springfield and one in Joplin but I can’t remember the names off the top of my head.
