Best place to sell an unused engagement ring

Looking for where I can get the best payout for worth. I'm not looking for anything unrealistic but I'd like to do better than a pawn shop and I'm a little worried of listing something like that online for sale. Any jewelers anyone would recommend?

A jeweler will rarely buy from an individual because, well, it’s a tough proposition when they’re offering you $1000 for a ring they are selling for $3500. Pawn shops would be the best… but again, they have to make money. You’d be surprised how many of them end up selling to jewelry stores at wholesale. Also, not sure what happened, but I once had to sell an engagement ring and it sucks!
