That seems about right for bed bugs. You can’t just spray for them. The rooms they are located in have to be superheated to kill all of them and their eggs.

Hmm, when they "superheat" the room, is that gonna mess with any technology? Because my laundry room is more like a laundry closet directly attached to my bedroom. So if that's gonna be a problem then I figure throwing out the whole bed sounds like a better option

Dr. Google says they heat the room to 118 degrees for 90 minutes, minimum, to kill all bed bugs and their eggs. So, I probably wouldn't run a computer while they're doing a treatment, but your appliances and stuff will be fine.

If you were to throw the bed out, you'd probably be left with eggs on the floor or at least one bed bug... all you need is one to restart an infestation.
