Was headed north on Campbell the other day on this same block when a truck turned towards me, going the wrong way. I honked and flashed my lights and all I got in response was a slight wave, like “yeah, yeah, calm down”. It then occurred to me that this driver must do that all the time—purposefully drive the wrong way into oncoming traffic simply because driving around the block would be inconvenient to them.
I’ve said this before and I’ll say it again. I have lived in 12 states/several dozen cities and 2 countries and have never seen such selfish, maniacal drivers. I have lived inside the beltways of DC and Houston! Springfield needs to get its shit together.
