I'm a transplant here from Southern California and just purchased my first home here in Springfield! I never would have been able to do this for my family in California, probably ever.

I love it here.

But again, you're right! They'll flock here like locusts and eat everything in their path lol!

As it was, I had to battle it out for my home. There was several offers on this house and I had to pay well over asking to beat them out. My house was built in 1928 and is really nothing special...but it's mine!
