I’m getting my first apartment but I have to get a washer and dryer. What’s the best place for used appliances?

Rikers sells nothing but washer, dryers and refrigerators. South Grant behind Parkview. They have a 30 day warranty, offer drop off and install.

Have personally bought two dryers from them over the years and no complaints. You could probably get a set for $500-600.

Second this…their warranty covers any repairs or even if you need to exchange it. We had issues with a washing machine we bought and they ended up letting us exchange it. Great service.

Honestly, buy the most basic appliances there are…the analog level devices. Used to be the $400 washer/dryer/fridge…prob 500-600 new now…

A repair on a fancier model could cover the new cost of a simple device…but few really need the features of most appliances.

Plus appliances are now a commodity item and features instead of true innovation is the manufacturer economy.

Bells, whistles & computer chips break down but basic ass washers that still have turn dials in them breakdown less. This was told to me by an appliance repairman. Something to keep in mind as you shop.
