Is anyone out there even TRYING to make a viable social media platform that doesn't suck? That doesn't feed on our worst impulses, but instead lets us post pics of our food and trips and talk about how we feel about the weather but isn't full of fake ads and hateful misinformation meant to monopolize our attention mixed in with a sprinkling of our friends' postings in no discernable order?
