There is no current channel called "The Learning Channel".

When Discovery bought The Learning Channel in the 90s, they phased the name out, and it is now only called TLC, 3 letters that mean nothing.

Realistically, somewhere around 2000 they had phased out their prior "learning" content, and rebranded into a lifestyles channel, and has been that ever sense.

All I think of is the reality TV satellite from the first season of Doctor Who. They had Anne-droid Robinson hosting the Weakest Link.

I loved that episode as a kid. I don’t know why, but I distinctly remember finding it ridiculous that they would still be using the format of “Big Brother” that far in the future lmao

This is nothing new. While we got a bit of a voice, the Reality Competition show Solitary (2006-2010) had no host other than a robotic disembodied voice named VAL.
