This definitely sounds like an edge case, even more so that the user was over by 3 million files. Should have been better documented though.

The fact that collecting it puts companies at further risk and GDPR doesn’t require it? The fuck you on about?

Microsoft’s business model. Make free, sub-adequate versions of things that already exist and then charge people for them eventually without increasing quality.

Anyone have any recommendations for a stand-alone security camera to record 24/7? Just need one, maybe two cameras.

With a 5 Million items limit, not sure how many people with normal use would be affected.
"Error 403: This account has exceeded the creation limit of 5 million items. To create more items, move items to the trash and delete them forever."

Why would you pay 5/month subscription if you aren't forced to?
The thing that gm is missing is they are behind the competition and that is not a good time to make your offerings less desirable. I would not buy a car without android auto much less a gm without android auto.

Reply to China’s chip industry will be ‘reborn’ under U.S. sanctions, Huawei says, confirming breakthrough by maki23
Huawei's success is the 14nm EDA design software.
At present, this kind of software is controlled by the United States, which means that China is gradually breaking through the complete industrial chain of chips, from materials, equipment to software. Not long ago, Japan dismantled Huawei's small base stations and found that Huawei had replaced most of the American chips with Chinese domestic chips.
