I binged the first three seasons, then found myself struggling to get thru the first few eps of S4. The show pretty much went thru a soft reboot and feels like a Saved by the Bell clone, especially that museum episode. Three students were inexplicably written out and replaced (sad to see my crush Leslie Bega gone), and Howard Hesseman's role was diminished. I don't blame him for leaving the show. I could see it in his face that he's over it. Even the show's intro was replaced! I Ioved that harpsichord-synth duet, with images of 80s NYC.

So should I keep watching or nah?

Season 4 was not great.

Season 5, however, was pretty good if you like Billy Connolly. Basically, they write in room for him to be Billy at least once an episode.

this the one with the Nickelodeon weirdo? I remember liking it a lot for the first two seasons, then show became too stupid to continue

I remember the two-parter where they went to the Soviet Union for an academic competition.
