They make more money selling digital copies or through streaming.
As someone who likes to own the shows and films that I really like / love, I do find it annoying but it is what it is.

You're right. What I don't understand is, they sold Succession's rights to many streaming platforms in Europe, just as same as they did for HotD or even lesser known shows like Station Eleven, yet the latter two got a BluRay release, while Succession didn't. I doubt Station Eleven (or even Perry Mason S1, which also got a BluRay release) are more profitable than Succession.
But yeah, it is what it is.

The Station Eleven is a Paramount produced/distributed show, not by HBO Max/Warner. Warner just bought the rights to stream it but they don't own it.
