What was a show that took you multiple attempts to try and watch, but once you really got over that hump, it became one of your favorites?

I was having this talk with a coworker of mine, who finally got around to watching The West Wing, after a period of years where he never finished the first season. When the show hooked him, he crushed out 7 seasons in 2 months.

I had similar experience with Six Feet Under. I tried watching it years back and then off a sudden it just clicked and its one of my all-time faves.
