I liked the Thanos gag through the episode

That was my first thought when I saw him dressed as a pilot! It did seem weird that it wasn't one of the jokes.

I think they made a point to specifically not have it be one of the jokes.

Brand synergy. Now they need an episode where the school goes to Disneyland.

They did that in the show Home Economics and it was really cringy lol. But Abbott Elementary is a much better show.

The season premiere of Home Economics was the worst example of this.

It was basically just an ad for DisneyLand and their Star Wars Galactic Whatever they have there.

There was literally no story or jokes or anything. It was just an ad.

This show has been great since the beginning but the Halloween episode is where I think it “clicked” if that makes any sense, reminds me of when Community did their Halloween episode with Abed as Batman.

The character dressed as another character has been done to death.

Oh, and candy doesn't make kids hyper. That's a myth.

Still strong episode.
