The Lord of the Rings spinoffs first season reported cost around $465 million which easily makes it the most expensive TV season ever created and even more expensive than Pirates of Carribbean: On Stranger Tides which at $378 million is the most expensive film ever made. Do you feel that the budget was well spent in regards to production design, costumes and special effects?

It has been reported that Jeff Bezos wanted a TV show on the scale of Game of Thrones for his Prime Video. Do you think he succeeded in that goal? Would Rings of Power be a major awards contender and pop culture phenomenon similar to how Game of Thrones was during its run?

Tolkien fans does the series live up to your expectations and is it consistent with the world building provided by J.R.R. Tolkien? Non Tolkien fans what are your impressions on it? People who have only watched the Peter Jackson movies, how do you feel the TV Show compares to both the original and the Hobbit trilogy?

It has been reported that the TV show has a 5 season plan. Does the first season serve well as a introduction while also being able to stand on its own? What are your hopes and expectations of Season 2 and beyond?
