Probably a year or so later, but don't sleep on this one. I already was a Mike Flanagan super fan, but this series just turned me into a true believer.

Seeing who was behind the show I already expected a high quality show, but my expectations were surpassed beyond my wildest dreams.

Like with any if not all media, is better to go blind, is what I would've loved, but anyone who was already seen some tv shows, movies or read some specific literature, hell even played some videogames can hardly go blind.

If there is one sin you can put in this series is predictability, that's it.

Despite that, I enjoyed every single second of it, I knew what was coming, I even predicted many scenes, still I was glued to all seven episodes. In all my many years of waching tv and movies this had never happened to me before.

I was this close to leaving the cinema while watching Arrival, 40 minutes or so in, already knowing what was most likely going to happen, but I sat there 1 more hour in the hopes of not being let down, so when I came to a similar situation watching this I felt a bit uneasy for a second but I pushed through it and continued watching. And let me tell you, I don't regret it, not one bit.

I didn't expect to like this more than Hill House, but I do, this is truly Mike Flanagan magnum opus.

A huge thanks to u/ILuvMemes4Breakfast and u/corkysoxx whose comments convinced me to watch this series.
