So over the festive period I finally caught up on The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and The Horse. Having never read the book I didn’t know what to expect. I had seen trailers and thought the animation style was beautiful so I was intrigued. I was not expecting to be left in floods of tears at the end of it. What a beautifully profound piece of television. Stunningly animated with a beautiful message. The voice actors suited the parts perfectly. I especially loved Gabriel Byrne as the horse.
