2010 was nowhere near NBC Thursdays “peak”

This. There was a period where NBC had Friends, Scrubs, Will & Grace and ER. Or you could swap out Scrubs for Frasier. Or go back to when they had Mad About You, Friends, Seinfeld and ER.

That lineup didn't air in that order in 2010. It did briefly at the end of the 2011-2012 season. Anyway, I'd argue peak Must See TV was 1984-1987. Cosby - Family Ties - Cheers - Night Court.

Lmao wrong Thursday night NBC era dude. Must see TV shows like Friends and Seinfeld are still talked about thirty years later. ER was absolutely huge and the Greys Anatomy of its day.

HBO had shows that Reddit nerds like. NBC had shows that everyone in America liked.

As much as I love all of NBCs thursday shows, nothing can top Sunday nights on HBO. “You ever watch Sunday night programming on HBO? Its spectacular.”

Peak HBO for me was Wire, Trueblood and Boxing.

HBO still has the most elite show but damn I really miss the boxing..

Game of Thrones aired at 9pm on Sunday nights. I am pretty sure Silicon Valley played afterwards at the 10 slot. Did VEEP air simultaneously with them or at a different time during the year?
