I didn't think it was bad at all and found myself into it because I'm not a Beyonce fan and know very little about her (or her hive).

I honestly find it amusing... hating a successful comedian because you don't find them funny is such a strange concept to me.
It's like me hating Jerry Seinfeld, because I don't find him funny or me hating Harry Styles because his music doesn't appeal to me.
Even though I don't find Jerry Seinfeld funny, that doesn't make him any less of a talented, successful comedian. Similarly, even though I don't listen to Harry Styles, he's still a talented, successful musician. You can't gatekeep comedy.

The only thing I took away from the show is that in her limited role Billie Eilish was actually pretty good and I’d like to see her do more acting going forward.

I’ve also come across it late at night on one of those nostalgia channels. Cozi maybe?

Maybe but it would be awesome. If they weren't sentient then just playing around.
I for one want to play the video games of that world. I bet they're incredible.

If it isn’t correct, I’m not confident that I’d make it whatever the real thing could be! We’re all flawed and the show handles that so well.

Fun fuct, in Italy Fran Fine was Francesca Cacace and italian (since most of the jew jokes were otherwise not understables to italians)

Mr Sheffield was played by Charles Shaughnessy. He’s currently on General Hospital, where he plays a villain.

I totally agree. It’s one of my comfort shows and it can still get laughs out of me. Ever since it hit HBOMAX I’ve rewatched it about once a year. Great comedy and hilarious musical references.

Reply to Seriously enjoyed the first episode of "The Power" on Amazon Prime. The series is based on a 2017 novel about how the world radically changes when millions of teenage girls suddenly develop electrical superpowers. Notably, none of them put on costumes and start fighting crime. by TJ_Fox
> it looks like they're pretty closely following the plot, characters and vibe of the novel
The novel is pretty dark and mature (amazing book btw), but the trailer looked too "silly-CW-teen-drama" tbh. Is the first episode really darker than the trailer made it out to be?

It actually crossed over with static shock a few times. There was a justice league unlimited episode where we see older static in the Beyond setting.

I have not watched Riverdale, but I've watched the short versions of it on Youtube and it was... great. I know it wouldn't be that good, with the episode amount and the length of episodes watching the actual show though. But the way it seems to escalate is just something else.

The Nanny will forever be my favourite sitcom. Aged insanely well and is just as funny now as it was when I was a child

Absolutely great series. I'd love if they were to reboot it.
