I'm pretty easy to please with knockoff 24 shows. Give me a decent plot, decent chemistry between the leads, decent side characters, and I'm happy.

Dude there’s alternate universes, super powers, witchcraft and time travel as of season 7. The serial killer stuff was downright grounded in reality. Lol

There's definitely some points in time and places in Star Wars that would be fine but Star Trek is much nicer overall.
Fuck living in The Expanse.

nope, not for you. You're far too invested in the fact that women were doing dishes and men dominating the world in the 50s, which will not change in the show because the reality was being portrayed as it was, not as you wish it would have been. So, nope, maybe A League of Their Own is the show for ya

You’re glad to hear that Steve-o isn’t getting forced out from The Bachelor?

It was really well done. If this happened on episode 2 then I can't wait to see how crazy they get by episode 9.

I watched season one and a bit of season two. I stopped because I found it pretty ridiculous that there was a serial killer about and the solution to stop him serial killing was for the high school football team to remove their shirts, put on masks, and record a video threatening the killer.
I’m very surprised to hear it got even more ridiculous than that

Atlanta was entertaining and as far as I remember there wasn't any senseless murders by the main characters. The main characters were likeable.

Reply to Seriously enjoyed the first episode of "The Power" on Amazon Prime. The series is based on a 2017 novel about how the world radically changes when millions of teenage girls suddenly develop electrical superpowers. Notably, none of them put on costumes and start fighting crime. by TJ_Fox
love how socially relevant discourse in these shows is manifactured by creating an absolutely idiotic sci fi premise that will never happen, kinda killing the believability of the discourse altogether

My favourite memory from Riverdale (while watching with the wife before we quit) was when Archie got his football bros to all strip their shirts off and put on these red masks to intimidate a serial killer on camera. I don’t know what they intended the threat to be, but it definitely looked like sexual assault

Used to watch this late night like a guilty pleasure waiting for that first entrance to see what Fran would be wearing. Never dissappointed and funny as shit. What a bombshell.

Morioh Cho from JoJo looks like a pretty damn great place to live in. Sure, you have serial killers and maniacs hiding in alleys but what city doesn't have one

Yeah that was Season 3. It bit off more than it could chew but I was seriously impressed by how they were able to bring it back on-track for Season 4, straight from the first episode.

Or! Maybe she's a big-city career woman, who gets stuck in this small town and has to adapt to its quirky, colourful residents?
