It's hard to say for sure year to year, but you'd most likely get some scattered yellow leaves with a lot of bare trees.

A small part of NJ looks like VT (e.g., Delaware Water Gap), just like a small part of VT looks like NJ (certain blocks of Barre, Rutland, Brattleboro...).
