I was going to say: Not closed to foot traffic!

Done!
Also, you're personally assigned the plowing & snow clearing responsibility. On call all winter and accountable for any problems travelers incur.

Ill even buy him a shovel cause a plow aint gonna make it.

I have fat biked and skied it when it was snow covered so I think it’s fine.

Damn, I was about to pull my tractor trailer through this afternoon.

I am not sure, and can't find any answers right away. VTrans might consider a bike technically a "vehicle". Obviously would be hard to ride a standard bicycle in the snow, but you could probably fatbike it.

Cool. I want to go with my fat bike too.

45, lived here all my life. Remember driving over the notch IN MY CAMARO while there was still snow on the road. People used to go over all year when it was possible.

Doesn't LG close at a set time each year though? And the notch closes when AOT deems it unsafe? Not sure why it's different, but it seems to be.

Road/Mtn bikes, snowmobiles, walking, skiing, sledding are all fine. I’ve seen snowmobiles and motorcycles, knew people that commuted daily by snowmobile between Smuggs and Stowe, not sure how legal it is.

And I remember many years where a car was stuck at the top after going around the old “barrier”sometimes it was Nov., sometimes Jan.
