Hey friends! I am supposed to be playing in a pond hockey tournament in Fairlee on lake Morley the weekend of the 28th. Anyone nearby have an idea of how much (if any) ice has formed? Anyone have a sense for whether or not there will be enough ice in 10 days or so? Thanks!

I’m not in Fairlee and not an ice/skating conditions expert but I checked Weather Underground for Fairlee 10 day forecast and night for the next 10 days straight are in the 20s so that puts things in your favor. You could also try calling the Lake Morey resort.

Will edit. I thought I saw that in the news but now I can’t find a source so - good news - I was wrong.

Oh man glad to hear it. I went there for the first time last year and the full loop was closed due to warm temps and looking forward to going back this year 🤞

Last I checked the ice is thicker close to shore, but not quite formed in the center. I’m not sure if it’s changed with the weird weather this week though.
