Hey friends! I am supposed to be playing in a pond hockey tournament in Fairlee on lake Morley the weekend of the 28th. Anyone nearby have an idea of how much (if any) ice has formed? Anyone have a sense for whether or not there will be enough ice in 10 days or so? Thanks!

Lake Morey Resort has a Facebook page and s Webcam. On FB they report still waiting. Love pond hockey tournaments except this year ice not cooperating.... https://www.lakemoreyresort.com/the-resort/webcam/

I’m not in Fairlee and not an ice/skating conditions expert but I checked Weather Underground for Fairlee 10 day forecast and night for the next 10 days straight are in the 20s so that puts things in your favor. You could also try calling the Lake Morey resort.

Last I checked the ice is thicker close to shore, but not quite formed in the center. I’m not sure if it’s changed with the weird weather this week though.
