Don't need to go supersonic with an F-16 to make an unholy mess of someone's pants. Also, certain flight authorities seriously frown upon going supersonic except in designated areas...

Way back in time a pilot that was doing his 'checkout' flight(last before his term was over) here in Norway, did a low-level over the base(just a smidge off the approved path), and went vertical with full afterburner above one building.

'Unholy hell' is one description I've heard from one of the guys in that building...
