+1, Salsa with Silvia is delightful and offers classes in a range of styles and ability levels. I've been to both locations with a bunch of their instructors and never had one that wasn't fun, talented and welcoming to newbies. They also host monthly all-levels social dances that are probably a good socializing opportunity for a newcomer, though I've never been.

It’s a 34 minute walk from Logan circle to their Georgia Ave location. There are also lots of buses running that route too. Or you could do a little scooter or bike rental. Parking will not be easy at their Georgia Ave location but there are lots of alternatives to driving
